Presentation of a petition on underwater noise to the Arctic Council Secretariat on behalf of citizens from over 100 countries around the world. The petition urges Arctic Council states to acknowledge in their 2019 Ministerial Declaration that the impact of underwater noise on Arctic biodiversity, coastal and Indigenous communities is an issue that must be addressed through new research and cooperation.
