Ashley is the Specialist, Communications for the Arctic Programme.
Ashley is experienced at taking complex scientific knowledge and turning it into written, photo, or video content that connects with a wider audience. She previously worked as a Communications Officer at the Stockholm Resilience Centre and for the Global Resilience Partnership, with a focus on sustainability and development.
Ashley holds an MSc in Sustainability from Stockholm University and an Honours BA in Psychology with a Minor Biology from the University of Western Ontario.
Climate change is happening faster in the Arctic than anywhere else, and it has real life impacts for the rest of the world. Capturing stories that connect people to the Arctic, no matter how near or far the Arctic may be, is a way to get people to better understand how everything is connected.
