Nils Harley Boisen
Advisor, Arctic and Northern Areas
Nils is WWF-Norway’s advisor on the Arctic and Northern Areas.
Nils grew up in Washington State in the USA, and has lived 16 years in Norway. A strong passion for integrating conservation of the natural word with sustainable livelihoods has always set the tone in his work and aspirations. Before joining WWF, he lived in remote Alaska where he worked for an indigenous environmental organisation.
He holds an MSc in ecology and natural resource management.
I work on Arctic issues because we’re all ice dependant species.
