Senior Specialist, Arctic Sustainable Development
Simon is the WWF Head of delegation at the International Maritime Organisation, the International Sea Bed Authority and a member of the Sustainable Shipping Initiative steering group. Previously, he was WWF International's Marine Manager, advising the WWF network on extractive industries and shipping.
He has also worked with the British Antarctic Survey and at the Institute of Coastal and Estuarine Studies.
Simon earned his PhD at Hull University in Marine Biomonitoring and Ecotoxicology, looking at biomonitoring tools such as indicator species and the genetics of pollutant-tolerant marine populations.
